Been a while since my last post for some reason, think I just got out of the habit. So, to update whats been going on since April (wow, that long!)
Had a lovely visit from Mum for her birthday weekend in April, with much shopping, cake and local attraction visits.
Not much going on with my stationary shop at the moment. I do want to get this off the ground so I have another focus when kiddos arrive in the next couple of years, but it seems like a big long slog to get things going for it. I've printed a sample set based on our own wedding stationary, but not sure if I can use it after expensively buying our supplies from America. Will possibly use this to show what I can do rather than what you can buy (unless you want to pay the shipping fees). Will keep thinking about this one, so all is not lost!

Tag!
A daft one after the serious prev post, which I'm working on by the way.
I'm such a plonka sometimes, after reading the isisjem post with her questions & answers I posted my answers as a comment, twice, durr.
Blogger Tag Rules:
1. You must post the rules.
2. Answer the questions the tagger set for you in their post and then create eleven new questions to ask the people you’ve tagged.
3. Tag eleven people and link to them on your post.
4. Let them know you’ve tagged them!

Back for now
So it's been a bit of a while since I finished the runner in my last post, where did those months go?!
What's happened then?
The birthday girl loved her runner and accompanying cushion & suited her newly decorated spare room.
I started and finished mums Christmas lap quilt, pieced, backed before we left. I hand quilted it using an enlarged version of this great pantograph (link to follow) - hearts, flowers and trailing leaves, what more could you want?!

I must be mad
I caught myself properly thinking and planning a star & hexie bed runner last night. Am I flipping mental?! I've just finished the big one and I want to do more hexes still?!
Based on this one and hand stitched again...

A bit about me
I know its an old concept and not very 2011, but I fancied sharing these with the world here :)
1. High heels or boots? Neither flat shoes most of the time (how can people wear heels, ow!)
2. What time did you get up this morning? 6:1, ergh
3. What was the last film you saw at the cinema? Super 8
4. What is your favourite TV show? Most comedy shows, girly period dramas
5. What do you usually have for breakfast? A cup of tea during the week, but bacon sandwich some weekends
6. What food do you dislike? Some spicy Mexican or Indian food or anything overly greasy
7. What is your favourite CD at the moment? Foo Fighters – Rope (hidden rock chick)
8. Favourite Clothing? Jeans (good fitting ones) or a nice dress
9. Anywhere in the world on vacation? Italy or anywhere exotic
10. Are you an organized person? Most times at work, but less so at home…

Hello Blogworld!

Hello!
Well, this is me and my first blog post...
I'll hopefully use this blog to record all the goings on in my crafty life, give a few tips here & there and possibly some other stuff.
Posting is more than likely to be quite sporadic and probably full of grammar and spelling mistakes, sorry in advance!
